band-x is the online identity of Andrew Waters, a web developer / designer / project manager based in Newcastle (UK). In actual fact band-x is much wider and work with a number of freelancers and businesses so each project is met with usually two or three members depending on its requirements.

Working mainly within the arts and community media sectors (with the occasional glimpse of corporate consultation), developing and engaging audiences through an online presence is the first priority of every project band-x works on.

From a simple portfolio site to company intranets, the ambition of band-x is to educate businesses whilst working with them. Realising the power of the components of your online presence is empowering and lead to a huge change inside that business. Being creative with features for sites is something that we like to do well.
